Problem

Kenya imports significant volumes of honey while local producers lack aggregation, quality control and packaging capacity — losing value to informal channels.

HDIC approach

HDIC trains and equips farmer groups, deploys hive infrastructure, integrates flowering crops such as sunflower to support colony health, and operates a small aggregation and packaging line for branded honey.
